Bhargavi Parab

Physiotherapist
My approach to Physiotherapy:
Bhargavi is an energetic and passionate physiotherapist who is always interested in finding out each patient’s individual health and fitness goals. She will emphatically listen to your story to understand all the factors in why you have your condition. It helps her to decide which mix of hands-on techniques, education and exercise is the best way to fix your concerns.
What to expect in your first visit?
As holistic practitioners, we take a 'whole-person' approach to consider all aspects of your health.
During the initial assessment, Bhargavi will ask about your past medical history, family medical history, and current symptoms to determine the cause of the pain.
You will receive hands on treatment in every session to work towards your recovery.
Our providers prefer to use their years (or decades) of expertise to feel whats going on, so we dont require any imaging, X-rays or GP referrals to begin treatment.
How to know if i need Physio or Pilates
The Physiotherapist will help determine if hands on/manual therapy, or a personalised pilates treatment plan will be the best option for your recovery. Typically manual therapy is best whilst you are still in pain and then a Pilates exercise treatment plan can be created for long term strengthening and rehabilitation.
Special Interests
Studying, treating and living in such a sporty country like Australia has exposed Bhargavi to the wider sports community and she has developed a passion for AFL and sports physiotherapy.

Bhargavi has a huge range of experience to draw from to make a personalised rehabilitation plan for anyones needs. She recommends Pilates exersice plans for many of her patients as she has seen first hand the rehabilitation potential of targeted pilates exercises.
"Seriously good physio and Pilates experts in a very welcoming environment. I suffer from chronic pain, so my capability changes from session to session. Therefore, I have 1-1 sessions, and if some part of my body is painful, the Pilates instructor always comes up with viable alternatives. It is great to be listened to and taken care of while improving your core strength, balance, etc. (Not at all common with chronic conditions.)"
