My approach to Osteopathy:

Osteopathy focuses on manipulating the musculoskeletal framework to improve your body’s capability to move and heal. Your osteopath is devoted to decreasing pain in the long and short term.

What to expect in your first visit?

During the initial assessment, Karishma will take into account your past medical history and current symptoms to determine the cause of the pain. You will receive hands on treatment in every session to work towards your recovery.

Whats the difference between Osteo and Physio

Osteopaths employ a therapeutic method akin to that of chiropractors, yet they incorporate a variety of gentle manual techniques, including muscle energy techniques. Their approach is holistic, addressing both spinal and peripheral joints, as well as muscles and ligament sprains. Osteopaths are skilled in fine palpation, allowing them to identify changes in tissue texture that may suggest altered function. In contrast, physiotherapy encompasses a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. Traditionally, physiotherapists focus on exercise-based strategies, providing advice and emphasizing rehabilitation and movement, rather than the hands-on techniques often utilized by chiropractors or osteopaths.

What's the difference between Osteo and Chiro

Osteopathy is holistic and takes the whole person, including their nutrition and lifestyle, into consideration during assessment and treatment and uses advanced biomechanics. The principles guide them to look at the whole body rather than just the injury because everything is connected. They also look at the surrounding inter-related structures to prevent the condition from recurring.

Treatments often occur in an upright treatment table (the truestretch cage), using movements from your real life. This progressive and comprehensive method of care is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

"I had been suffering with daily pain from tennis elbow for 4 months. I had had tried various treatments but it was not easing. That is until I saw the osteo Mason Webb. He cured my tennis elbow in just a couple of sessions. It was an amazing experience and a huge relief. It is great to be able to be back at doing all my regular exercise, including playing tennis."
